Palmer E. Saylor

CRALEY - Palmer E. Saylor, 81, died Friday, June 20, 2008 at Manor Care - Kingston Court. He was the husband of the late Jacqualine N. (Minnich) Saylor. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 23, 2008 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, with the Rev. Larry Dentler officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM Monday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Born March 5, 1927 in Dallastown, a son of the late Virgil D. and Florence I. (Lentz) Saylor, he had worked as a security guard for Protection Technology Inc., at both Peach Bottom and Brunner Island Power Plants. He was a member Hellam VFW and attended Bermudian Church of the Brethren. Mr. Saylor was a US Army veteran of WWII. Mr. Saylor is survived by a son, Rodney E. and wife Stacy Saylor of Craley; two daughters, Pamela E. Saylor of Dover and Tiana M. Saylor of NY; four grandchildren, Seth, Nicole, Christopher, and Stefan; and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bermudian Church of the Brethren, 279 Bermudian Church Rd., East Berlin, PA 17316.
