Owen H. Nagle

Dover—Owen H. Nagle, 87, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Manor Care Health Services—South. He was the husband of the late Delores L. (Blouse) Nagle. A Celebration of Life Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born May 28, 1928 in York, he was a son of the late Arthur O. and Edna (Shoemaker) Nagle. He was employed as a machine operator for 37 years with Sylvania/GTE, until his retirement in 1995. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the Shiloh American Legion-Post 791. Mr. Nagle is survived by two sons, Paul W. Nagle of Maine and Arthur W. Nagle of Dover; one daughter, Christine D. Bennett of York Haven; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Meda Nagle of E. York and Doris Taylor of York and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Maryann Decker.
