Ordella L. (Moody) Shaffner

DOVER – Ordella L. (Moody) Shaffner, 77, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Forest Park Nursing Home in Carlisle. She was the wife of the late Dean L. Shaffner. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 29, 2013 at Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry with The Rev. Richard B. Starr officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens. Born August 22, 1935 in Mt. Airy a daughter of the late Jacob and Amy (Anderson) Moody, she enjoyed crocheting and going to flea markets with her late husband. Mrs. Shaffner is survived by three brothers, Vernon and wife Jessie Moody of Wellsville, Carl and wife Betsy Moody and Richard and wife Rose Moody both of Lewisberry; two sisters, Donna and husband Leon Nailor of Dillsburg and Joann Moody of Orlando, FL; and a sister in law, Anna Moody of Wellsville. She was preceded in death by a brother, Guy Moody.
