Odessa B. (Lutz) Heim

York-Odessa B. (Lutz) Heim, 81, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Paul W. Heim. A celebration of life service will be 2 PM Friday, November 19, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with the Rev. Fred A. Walthour, of Salem United Church of Christ in Jacobus, officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2 PM Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born June 1, 1929 in East Hopewell Township, she was a daughter of the late G. Curtis and Jeanette (Bisker) Lutz. A dedicated homemaker, she enjoyed planting and caring for her flower gardens, gardening and attending yard sales in search of antique glassware. She loved shopping at the Galleria Mall, regularly attended the Eastern Farmers Market on Fridays and graduated from Stewartstown High School. Mrs. Heim is survived by two sons, Jeffrey R. Heim of Red Lion and Gregory K. Heim of York, one grandson, Jeffrey R. Heim II and wife, Kimberly of Dover, one brother, Bruce T. Lutz of York, one sister, Edith Elaine (Lutz) Sipe and husband, Harvey of York and cousins. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, Pa 17406.
