Normand E. Champagne

RED LION- Normand E. Champagne, 67, died on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his residence. He was the husband of Sharon P. (Druce) Champagne who died on January 28, 2020. The couple had been married for 43 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with the Reverend Dr. Kenneth Loyer officiating. A viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. The service will be webcast at HeffnerCare.com by searching Normand’s obituary. Born on October 1, 1954 in Central Falls, Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Joseph G. and Lucille (Mallouin) Champagne. Normand was a pharmacist for Weis Markets for over 20 years. Normand enjoyed biking, hiking, traveling, the beach, camping, square dancing, was a yoga and sports enthusiast and had a new love for tennis. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Mr. Champagne is survived by three sons, Daniel E. Champagne and his wife, Tamara of Abbottstown, Philip A. Champagne, Sr. and his wife, Kimberly of Lititz and Mathieu J. Champagne and his fiancé, Ashley Douglass of Grand Rapids, MI; six grandchildren, Alexis, Faith, Allyson, Garren, Vivian and Philip, Jr.; and brother, Leo Champagne and his husband, John O’Grady of South Pasadena, FL. He was preceded in death by his brother Rene’ Champagne.
