YORK- Norman Lewis Cesky, 80, of York died Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Rest Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be 6 p.m. Wednesday November 7, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. The visitation will be 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Cesky was born in Baltimore, MD on April 22, 1927, a son of the late Frank A. and Anita (Bryan) Cesky. He joined the US Navy and served in WWII. Mr. Cesky was first employed with the American Machine and Foundry Co., then later for United Defense. He was a member of the Vikings Club. Mr. Cesky was affiliated with several local Veterans of Foreign War posts. He loved to fish and hunt. Mr. Cesky lived life to the fullest. Mr. Cesky is survived by a son, Scott E. and his wife, Laura L. Cesky; two grandchildren, Jordan M. and Brandon S. Cesky, all of Dover; and numerous friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greater Dover Dollar for Scholars, C/O Principal Bill O'Donnell, N. Salem Elementary School, 5161 N. Salem Church Rd., Dover, PA 17315, in memory of PVT Zachary Clouser.
