MT. WOLF – Norman E. Hedrick, 93, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at York Lutheran Home at Sprenkle Drive. He was the husband of the late Erma (Warner) Hedrick. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 10, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Rev. Richard B. Starr officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born May 30, 1920 in Red Lion a son of the late Iva (Runkle) Hedrick, he was a graduate of Red Lion High School. Mr. Hedrick had worked at the Naval Ordinance Plant in York and retired from Caterpillar Inc. He was an avid fisherman. Mr. Hedrick is survived by two sons, Glenn L. and wife Carolyn Hedrick of Mt. Wolf and Ray M. Hedrick of Windsor; a daughter, Cheryl N. Malosky of Palm Harbor, FL; three grandchildren, Glenn L. Hedrick, Jr. and wife Karen, Lisa and husband Mike Anstett, and Michael Malosky, Jr.; five great grandchildren, Ethan and Evan Anstett, and Marcus, Ryan, and Dylan Hedrick. Memorial contributions may be made to Red Lion Senior Center, 20 C. Gotham Pl., Red Lion, PA 17356 or to York Lutheran Home at Sprenkle Drive, 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., York, PA 17404.
