Norma L. "Sally" Keller

YORK- Norma L. “Sally” (Craley) Keller, 92, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Preston G. Keller with whom she was married to for 57 years prior to his death in 2007.

Norma was born in New Bridgeville on May 2, 1931 to the late W. Francis and Carrie (Grimm) Craley. She was a 1949 graduate of Red Lion High School. Norma retired from Fincor Electric and was instrumental in starting the Fincor Employees Organization in 1997. She was a member of Bethlehem (Stonepile) Church and Bentenville AARP.

During her life, Norma and Preston traveled the world. Together they did many trips, cruises and flew the Concorde. She enjoyed doing bus trips with Rob and War, Bentenville AARP and Guys and Dolls. To many she was known as the butterfly lady. She enjoyed wearing butterflies and decorating her home with butterflies.

Sally leaves two daughters, Diane Sunday and husband, Jeffrey of York and Peggy Ann Clay and husband, Robert; grandmother to Stephanie Hartlaub and husband, Adam of York, Matthew Clay and wife, Erica of Douglasville and Joseph Clay and wife, Colleen. Great grandmother to Megan, Hope and Hunter of York, Gabrielle, Ethan and Brianna of Douglasville and Hannah as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Russel and Earl and sisters, Helen Leiphart, Olive Beck, Gladys Mundis and Velma Godfrey.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Pastor Bryant Holtzapple officiating. A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery.
