GEORGETOWN, TX-Norma Lucille (Hess) Neuman, 93, formerly of Red Lion, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Neuman. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on July 15, 2022 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, PO Box 250, 45 First Ave. in Red Lion. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on July 14th at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion and 10-11 a.m. at the church on July 15th. Burial will be in Freysville Cemetery in Red Lion. Mrs. Neuman was born in Red Lion on March 2, 1929 the daughter of the late Pius Emory Hess and Lucille Dean (Quigley) Bamforth. She retired from Caterpillar after over 30 years of service. Mrs. Neuman was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Red Lion. She was a 1946 graduate of William Penn Senior High. She was a member of Caterpillar Retiree’s Club and the Dallastown Golden Agers. She was an avid reader, enjoyed travel, and loved living in York County. Mrs. Neuman leaves a daughter, Carla Ann Mast and her husband Phil of Georgetown, TX; two grandchildren, Craig A. Mast and his wife Denise of Friendswood, TX and Douglas E. Mast and his wife Jolene of Clayton, DE; four great grandchildren, Julia, Jordan, Jena, and Alana; many loving nieces and nephews; and her many friends in Georgetown, TX and York County, PA.
