Norma Jean (Shelley) Brown

Norma Jean (Shelley) Brown, 86, died on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Pleasant Acres. She was the wife of the late Clair L. Brown to whom she was married for 45 years. Born on April 19, 1932 in York, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Annie (Sheckenbaugh) Shelley. Norma was an examiner at JLM Sportswear and owned and operated at motel in Galeton, PA. Mrs. Brown was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. Mrs. Brown is survived by her son, Kenneth Brown and wife, Margaret of Brogue; two daughters, Wanda Eberly and fiancé, Edward of Pequea and Cindy Wilson James and husband, Tim of Williamsport; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Kerchner of Columbia and Janice Walker and husband, David of Dallastown; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon A. Brown; brother, Dale Shelley; and sister, Alma Snyder.
