Norma Jean (Herrick) Swain

WEST BURLINGTON- Norma Jean (Herrick) Swain, 72, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Bradford County Manor. She was the wife of the late Paul C. Swain who passed away in 1994. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at the Bradford County Memorial Park in Luthers Mills, PA. Rev. Lynn Ensign of the Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church will be officiating. Cremation will take place with the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Norma was born on September 29, 1934 in Athens, PA. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucy (Foster) Herrick. Norma was a graduate of Athens High School and worked as a Nurses Aid for the Bradford County Manor. Her favorite things to do were to sit outside and watch the wildlife and wave at folks as they drove by her house. Norma loved her family. They include her sons: Paul C. Swain, Jr. of Luthers Mills, PA, Kenny E. Swain and John M. Swain, both of West Burlington, PA, Larue R. Swain and Calvin W. (Nancy) Swain, all of Towanda, PA, her daughters Ruth Swain of New Jersey, Paula J. Swain of Ulster, PA and Sally (Frank) Walcheski of Alba, PA, sixteen grandchildren, and three sisters.
