Norma C. Ferree

YORK- Norma Carolyn (Benham) Ferree, 81 of Springettsbury Township passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Gettysburg Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Rd. in York. Deacon Neil Crispo will be officiating at the service. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mrs. Ferree was born in Philadelphia on April 23, 1934, the daughter of the late Walter Payne and Florence Elizabeth (Bayer) Benham. She was working as the General Manager for Annie Anne’s Pretzels inside Walmart in East York. Prior to that she was the General Manager for both Freshens and Rax Restaurants. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in York. Mrs. Ferree leaves her ex-husband, Carl E. Ferree; son, Kurt E. Feltenberger of York; brother, Richard Benham; and three sisters, Deborah Graham, Aubrey Cleland, and Ruth Scadding. Memorial contributions may be made to Welshterrierrescue.com
