Nona Jane Schuler

Williamsport- Nona J. (Darling) Schuler, 86, died at home, Monday, June 11, 2007. She was the wife of the late Elmer E. Schuler. Born in Williamsport at her home on Newberry St. on May 14, 1921, a daughter of the late Archie F. and Nella K. Darling. She took pleasure in the outdoors and liked to go shopping. Nona loved her family and enjoyed spending time with children. A son, Christopher E. and his wife, Charlene M. Schuler of Williamsport; two daughters, Ruth A. and her husband, Michael Brooks of Cheyenne, WY and Christine J. Schuler of Williamsport; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren, survive Nona. A sister, Ruth Sahm, precedes her in death. A viewing will be held 6 to 8:00pm, Thursday at the Allen and Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport. A funeral procession will form at the funeral home at 10am on Friday for the graveside service. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
