Nolan E. Heffner

YORK – Nolan E. Heffner, 88, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Rest Haven – York. He was the husband of the late Arlene M. (Erney) Heffner. Born November 20, 1933 in Felton, a son of the late Allen and Marie (Gemmill) Heffner, he was a 1951 graduate of Red Lion Area High School. Mr. Heffner, along with his wife, owned and operated the former A&W Root Beer stand in Columbia for many years. He was a 50+ year member of the Felton Hunting Camp in State College and was extremely proud to have voted in every elections except one primary since he became eligible to vote. Mr. Heffner is survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Delmas Heffner. Tribute services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
