Nobbie P. (Horton) Kinard

RED LION - Nobbie P. (Horton) Kinard, 83, entered peacefully into rest on Monday, August, 5, 2013 after a 9 year struggle with dementia, at Susquehanna Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Freysville Cemetery with the Reverend Steven Schmuck officiating. A viewing will be from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl. Red Lion. Born on February 24, 1930 in Laurel, PA, she was a daughter of the late John S. and Annie J. (Billings) Horton. Nobbie was a seamstress for over 25 years at Roanna Girl. Nobbie’s greatest joy was her two grandsons who stole her heart the moment they were born. Nobbie is survived by one daughter, Debra M. Mitchell and her husband, Thomas of Red Lion; two grandsons, Chad N. Dabler and his companion, Kelli and Christian J. Mitchell and his fiancée, Natasha; and numerous nieces and nephews.
