Nina Jo (Kirkpatrick) Hoover

FELTON - Nina Jo (Kirkpatrick) Hoover, 65, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of James A. Hoover, Sr. to whom she was married for 20 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 6:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with The Rev. Michael R. Brecht officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 PM Saturday and 5-6:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. Born October 27, 1944 in Baltimore a daughter of the late Alton and Faye (Van Hollers) Kirkpatrick, she had was a school bus driver for Baltimore Co. Schools for 12 years and later worked for a local trucking company transporting mail across the country. She enjoyed spending her time crocheting, knitting, spinning yarn, and researching her genealogy. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hoover is survived by three sons, Eric E. Tolbert of California, Jason E. and wife Ye Tolbert of Herndon, VA, and Micah and wife Tamara Jaesperson of Oulu, WI; two stepsons, James A. Hoover, Jr. and wife Carol of Dover and Todd L. Hoover of Parkton, MD; two stepdaughters, Dawn L. Close of Fawn Grove and Tammy M. Miller of Stewartstown; 11 grandchildren; and two brothers, Chesley Kirkpatrick of Dundalk, MD and Gregory Kirkpatrick of Edgemore, MD.
