Nikolaus M. Samryk

York- Nikolaus Mikhailovich Samryk, 87, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at York Hospital. Arrangements are being handled by Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York. Mr. Samryk was born in Lutsk, Poland on June 1, 1919, a son of the late Mikhail Yokov and Maria (Lisowa) Samryk. He retired from Borg Warner Corporation in York and attended St. Andrew's Russian Orthodox Church in Baltimore. Mr. Samryk leaves two sons: George Nikalaus Samryk of York and his wife Brenda Jo, Alexis Alexander Samryk of Shrewsbury, and their mother Bertha S. Samryk and two grandchildren: Ashley Jo Samryk and Larisa Madison Samryk. He was preceded in death by a son, Konstantin Mikhail Samryk. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the grandchildren's preschool, Aldersgate Parent/Child Preschool Scholarship Fund, 397 Tyler Run Rd., York, PA 17402.
