Niha P. (Amin) And Parag J. Patel

YORK – Niha P. (Amin) Patel, 41 and Parag J. Patel, 43 died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at their home. Niha and Parag were married 19 years on February 17, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Niha was born February 9, 1972 in Gujarat, India a daughter of Sarojben Patel of York and the late Rameshbhai Patel. She was a Certified Medical Assistant and homemaker. Parag was born March 20, 1970 in Bangalore, India a son of Jasubhai and Snehlataben Patel of Indiana. He worked as a nuclear medicine technician in Hanover. Together, Niha and Parag were active in their community and enjoyed spending time with their children and family. Niha also volunteered at the Hindu American Religious Institute (HARI) Temple in New Cumberland. In addition to their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patel are survived by a son, Vraj Patel at home; a daughter, Prachi Patel at home; and Parag’s brother, Anurag Patel of Indiana. Niha was preceded in death by her brother, Bhavin Amin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HARI Temple, 301 Steigerwalt Hollow Rd., New Cumberland, PA 17070.
