Nevin R. Waltersdorff

Nevin R. Waltersdorff, 77, died on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at York Hospital. He was the wife of Judith E. (Eberly) Waltersdorff, to whom he was married for 58 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. Viewings will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Fairview Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Born on January 11, 1944 in Spry, he was a son of the late Merrin and Margaret (Shaffer) Waltersdorff. Nevin was the owner of Nevin R. Waltersdorff Electric for over 50 years. Mr. Waltersdorff enjoyed baseball, especially attending York Revolution Games. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. Along with his wife, Judy, Nevin leaves three sons, Ronald Waltersdorff of Dover, Brian Waltersdorff of Dover and Michael Waltersdorff of York; two daughters, Judy Knaub of York and Sandra Waltersdorff of York; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Ed and Marlin; and two sisters, Dorothy and Ruth.
