Nathan Thomas Smeltzer

YORK- Nathan Thomas Smeltzer, 31, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:30 pm on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a visitation from 6-7:30pm. The Reverend Brian Rice of Living Word Community Church will be officiating at the service. Nathan was born in York on June 16, 1986, the son of Kerry M. and Sindy L. (Shoff) Smeltzer of Red Lion. He was currently working as a manager for Sparkle Wash in York. Nathan was a 2005 graduate of Red Lion Senior High School, attended Howard Community College and graduated from Wesley College in Dover, DE. He was a member of the Red Lion football and lacrosse teams. He was also an assistant coach with: Red Lion lacrosse, intramural lacrosse teams and at different tournaments. Along with his parents, Nathan leaves a brother, Justin M. Smeltzer and his wife Stefanie of Dallastown, maternal grandmother, Kathleen Shoff of Red Lion and her husband the late Dario Shoff, an Uncle Rick Shoff; two aunts, Christine Vasellas and Patsy Miller; two nieces, Braelyn and Adelyn Smeltzer; and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Pauline Smeltzer and two uncles, Barry and Merle Smeltzer. Memorial contributions may be made to Not One More at www.notonemoreyorkpa.org
