Naoma J. [Miller] Davis

New Oxford - Naoma J. [Miller] Davis, 79, died Sunday, November 25, 2007 at The Brethren Home at Cross Keys Village. She was the wife of the late Earl E. Davis. Funeral services and burial will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born August 14, 1928 in Bridgeville, Allegheny Co., a daughter of the late Sherman W. and Katherine E. [Neff] Miller, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and playing bingo. She was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. Mrs. Davis is survived by two daughters, Katherine E. Sweitzer and Melissa J. and husband Michael Senft both of Dover; three grandchildren, Lindsay M. Kennedy, Amy K. Senft, and Caitlyn E. Sweitzer; and a sister, Rose Ann Miller of Carnegie, PA. She was preceded in death by a brother, Sherman Miller, Jr.; and four sisters, Elva Hertzog, Georgia Val, Martha Weinzierl, and Jeanne Taxachre.
