Nancy P. Young

LOCK HAVEN - Nancy P. (Weaver) Young, 72, of Kephart Plaza, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Lock Haven Hospital where she was a patient one-day. She was born November 20, 1944 in Glen Daniels, West Virginia a daughter of the late Wylie Weaver and Pearl J. (Farley) Irvin. Nancy was married to Robert A. Young who died February 11, 2000. She worked for First Quality for 10 years retiring in 2005. Nancy was a member of the Salvation Army. She enjoyed yard sales, reading and traveling. Surviving are one son Kenneth L. (Dawson) Klobe of Williamsport, two step-sons Howard (Kim) Young of Rome, PA and Robert (Jackie) Young, Jr. of Broxton, GA Three daughters Teresa Klobe, Bobbi (Alfred) Owczarek both of Jacksonville, FL and Kelly Mader of Lock Haven, three step-daughters Robin (Danny) Creecy of Douglas, GA, Janet Ward of Broxton, GA and Patsy Tanner of Americus, GA. Three grandchildren, Dawn, Gregory and William also 2 step grandchildren Alfred Owczarek and Shasta Owczarek and two step grandsons, Hunter and Samuel. Two brothers Clinton Weaver of Brooksville, FL and Harvey Hess of Cape Coral, FL, two sisters Marie McKivison of Lock Haven and Phyllis Watkins of Waxhaw, NC She was preceded in death by a grandson Michael. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received one-hour prior to the service. Major Sharon Cupp officiating and Elaine Barth as soloist. Burial will be private at Hayes-Fearon Cemetery, Beech Creek.
