Nancy M. (Anderson) Ness

WINTERSTOWN- Nancy M. (Anderson) Ness, 70, passed away Thursday, May 5,, 2016 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Dean R. Ness to whom she was married over 50 years. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with The Reverend Anthony Zumbo officiating. Viewings will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 6-8 PM and Wednesday May 11, 2016 from 9-10 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born February 13, 1946 in York, Nancy was the daughter of the late Donald H. and Mayfield V. (Hershner) Anderson. She worked for 30 years as an assembler at the former Flinchbaugh’s, now General Dynamics, until her retirement in 2008. Nancy enjoyed reading, especially Danielle Steele and James Patterson books. She also loved traveling and spending time in the mountains. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ness is survived by a grandson, Joseph Dean Ness.
