A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Grace Fellowship, 1405 Seven Valleys Rd. in York New Salem, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. A gathering with refreshments will be held immediately following the service. Nancy graduated from Red Lion High School in 1962 where she met Dale. She enjoyed playing the piano while Dale sang and played the trumpet. She also enjoyed singing in the choir. 37 years ago, Pastor Jack Orr helped lead her to salvation. After feeling God lead them, Nancy and Dale became members at Grace Fellowship. It was at Grace that Nancy realized God wanted her to use her gift of teaching. She had a vast and impressive library. She enjoyed being surrounded by her books. Each week she would spend hours thoroughly studying God’s word as to prepare her lesson for the Precepts class. Nancy loved her family, gardening, animals, watching birds and cross-stitch. But her first love was God with a special heart for missions. Her constant prayer was that each and every one would know eternal salvation. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Charlene D. Peters and husband David of York, Tim M. Seaks of Dover, and Mark E. Seaks of Dover. Over the course of the last 27 years, she also enjoyed the addition of nine grandchildren; Jared (27), Chandra (25), Brianna (22), Chloe (15), Lindy (12), Austin (17), Danielle (20), Kayla (19), Mark (18), as well as two great grandchildren (both 4). She is also survived by a brother, Bill of Maine. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Fellowship, Mission’s Fund, 1405 Seven Valleys Road, York New Salem, PA 17371.
