Nancy L. (Burt) Robinson

WELLSBURG, NY - Nancy L. (Burt)Robinson Age 72, Wellsburg, NY After a courageous battle with cancer Nancy passed away on November 25, 2012 at Robert Packer Hospital, surrounded by her family. Nancy was born on February 22, 1940 in Elmira, NY daughter of the late Truman and Reva (Camp) Burt. She was predeceased by her sisters Doris Pallone, Jessie Norgren, Kathleen Liberatore and Eleanor White & Brothers Edward Burt, and Truman Burt Jr. Nancy is survived by her husband Rodney L. Robinson, they had just recently celebrated 50 years of marriage, her daughter Geri (John) Rogers of Elmira, NY, a son Rodney C. Robinson of Wellsburg, NY, a brother Judd (Pat) Burt of Wellsburg, NY, sisters Lena Buckland of Elmira, NY and Helen (Isabel) (Dale) Ackerman, of Texas, half brother James Allen, Pine City NY. Her grandchildren which were her pride and joy; Kellie Rogers, Rachel Robinson and Logan Robinson. Nancy loved the time she spent with her grandchildren going to their sports events. Also Nancy loved Johnny Rogers and Nathan Keeney. Several brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive Nancy. With a special thanks to niece Reva Pallone and nephew Richard Root for all their help and support. Nancy was retired from the Elmira City School District; she also spent many years working at Arnot Ogden Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital. The family would like to thank all those who cared for her at the Guthrie Cancer Clinic and Robert Packer Hospital, with a special thanks to Dr. Lash and Susie Mullen.
