Nancy J. Westphal

YORK- Nancy J. (Bupp) Wishard Westphal, 66, of Manchester Township, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of her loving and devoted husband Gunther T. “Gunny” Westphal, Jr. The couple celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary on October 7, 2017. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a visitation from 1-2 p.m. Certified Celebrant Victoria Krouse will be officiating at the service. Nancy was born in York on January 22, 1952, the daughter of the late Preston and Margaret (Slenker) Bupp. She worked at Memorial Hospital and for Central York High School in the cafeteria. Nancy was a past volunteer for Hawk’s Gunning Club and March of Dimes and currently was a volunteer for the American Red Cross. She was a member of Viking Club, Hellam VFW, and Shiloh American Legion. She enjoyed time with her family and friends and also being outdoors amongst her flower gardens. She loved animals, especially her seven cats. Nancy leaves a daughter, Tonya S. Beck and her husband Bob of York; a step daughter, Tracy Wilson and her husband Troy of York; two grandchildren, Zach Ream and Dillon Waugh; four step grandchildren, Haley and Cole Myers and Zane and Jeremy Beck. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Dacheux. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
