YORK - Nancy J. [Cramer] Lupton, 83, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at her residence. She was the wife of the late W. B. "Bill" Lupton. Funeral services and burial will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born February 7, 1924 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late George H. and Amanda E. [Nestel] Cramer, she was a 1941 graduate of Lancaster's J.P. McCaskey High School. She has worked as a bookkeeper for Armstrong Corp. in Lancaster and enjoyed being a homemaker. Mrs. Lupton loved cooking, baking, and sewing for her family and friends. She was a member of Colonial Park United Church of Christ in Harrisburg, where she had been active in various ladies groups; and attended Emmanuel UCC in Red Lion. Mrs. Lupton is survived by two daughters, Sharon C. and husband Tom Butcher of York and Susan L. and husband Steven Graybill of Marriottsville, MD; four grandchildren, Christi and husband Josh Brown, Elizabeth and husband Michael Hamel, Rebecca Graybill, and Daniel Graybill; and a great grandson, Trent Hamel. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas S. Lupton; a brother; and two sisters. Memorial contributions may be made to York Cancer Patient Help Fund, 25 Monument Rd., Suite 194, York, PA 17403.
