Nadine L. (Weaver) Trimmer

YORK- Nadine (Weaver) Trimmer, 82, passed away January 2, 2013 at the York Lutheran Home at Sprenkle Drive after a long illness. Nadine was a life-long resident of York and was a loving wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. Nadine was graduated from York High School and was employed by Caterpillar for many years. She had many hobbies and passions including button collecting, quilting, and was a huge sports enthusiast. She adored her nieces and nephews and loved to travel. Nadine was a long time and active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in York. Nadine was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, George Trimmer, and her brothers, John, George, and Jay Weaver. She is survived by her son, Mark Trimmer and his wife Robyn of Sea Girt, NJ, her granddaughters, Kerry Trimmer of New York City, and Lisa Trimmer of Ocean Grove, NJ, and many loving nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 839 West Market Street, York, PA 17401 Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York was in charge of the arrangements which were private.
