Myrtle M. (Morris) Hileman

MILTON - Myrtle M. (Morris) Hileman, 89, died on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Kramm Health Care Center. She was the loving wife since 1964 to Stanley L. Hileman. Myrtle was born on September 9, 1918 in Elkton, VA and was a daughter of the late M. Clinton and June I. (Offenbacher) Morris. She was a graduate of Elkton Area High School and of the Empire Beauty School. She had retired as a nurse from the Muncy Valley Hospital and formerly sold House of Stuart Cosmetics and Westmoreland Sterling Silver. She was also a member of the Practical Nurses Association and the American Folk Musicians Association #11. In addition to her husband Stanley, Myrtle is survived by two sons and one daughter in law; Howard P. Harner of Montoursville and Wayne E. and Deborah Harner of Houston, TX, one daughter; Mareta M. Digan of Lewisburg, six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and three sisters and two brothers in law; Mae and Lew Leavitt of Mechanicsville, VA, Anita "Mickey" Tappy of Elkton, VA and Barbara and Bob Liskey of Staunton, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband; Paul P. Harner, one sister; Vada Burner and one brother; Charles Morris. The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. There will be a public viewing from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
