Myrtle Anna (Zinck) Wertz

LINDEN - Myrtle Anna (Zinck) Wertz, 85, died on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Williamsport Hospital. Myrtle was born on February 04, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnus (Button) Zinck. She was married to the late Raymond Collen Wertz who had died in 2005. She had attended the Albright Center in her later years. Myrtle is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Bruce W. and Pamela Wertz of Upper Darby, one daughter and son-in-law; Pamela K. and Norman Koch of Linden, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and one sister; Hazel Humphrey of Waterville. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Appalachian Horse Help & Rescue, Inc., 1201 Yerger Road, Linden, PA 17744. Arrangements are being handled by the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
