Myrtle A. Leiphart

YORK- Myrtle A. (Lutz) Leiphart, 94, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Rest Haven in York. She was the wife of the late Reverend Raymond F. Leiphart. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery in Yorkanna. Mrs. Leiphart was born in York on September 24, 1922, the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Jane (Fletcher) Lutz. She worked for Rojan Company in Dallastown, where she was a furniture assembler. She and her husband were also Evangelists for Campsite Evangelism, Inc. Mrs. Leiphart leaves a son, Larry Leiphart and his wife Marilyn of Glen Rock; two daughters, Leatha Kline and her husband William of Red Lion, and Tina Leader and her husband Dennis of Dallastown, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Hill of Texas; and three sisters-in-law, and a brother-in-law. She was preceded in death by a son, Craig Leiphart and two sisters, Ruth Portner and Jessie Trout. Memorial contributions may be made to Campsite Evangelism, Inc., 10351 Hudson Ave., Hudson, FL 34669.
