Morvarid Behmanesh

BROGUE, PA – Morvarid Behmanesh, 53, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 at York Hospital. She was the wife of John C. Van Ness to whom she was married for eight years. Morvarid was born on May 12, 1968 in Tehran, Iran; a daughter of the late Attaullah Behmanesh and Soudabe (Sakineh) Azimi-Taleghani. She worked as a freelance graphic designer and painter. She was a creative soul who loved nature and going on walks. Nothing made her happier than spending time around her friends and family. In addition to her husband John, Morvarid is survived by her sisters Yassaman, Ladan and Maryam. She was preceded in death by her brother Behnam and sisters Niloufar and Marjan. A tribute service will be held at 1:05 pm Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Green Spring Valley Hunt Club, 30 Greenspring Valley Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A visitation with family and friends will be from 12:30 - 1:05 pm before the service, followed by a gathering afterwords.
