WILKES-BARRE-Morris Leonard Medley, Sr., 76, of Coal Street, passed away Saturday evening, December 15, 2007 at his home. Born in Larksville on October 21, 1931, he was a son of the late William Leonard and Lillian Elizabeth (McCloe) Medley. He was a graduate of G.A.R. High School and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Medley was a former member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre. He was also a one time prize fighter in Florida. Prior to retiring, he was employed as a truck driver, having worked for Sullivan Trucking, American Trucking and Pignotti Trucking. He was preceded in death by his son, Eric Marshal Medley, Sr.; daughter Marcy Jo Medley; brother John Medley and sister Rachel Medley. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, the former Martha Dudley; sons Morris "Marty" Leonard Medley, Jr., and Jayme Morris Medley, both of Wilkes-Barre; daughter Kimberly Medley, Holly (Albert) Browning, and Chyna Lee (David) Reese, all of Wilkes-Barre; Tracy Ann (Lewis) Powell, Maryland; grandchildren, Stevland Morris Medley, Raye'Vaugn and Anthony Powell; Austyn, Aubrey, Aryss, Armani and Ayland Browning; Marcy Earlene Medley; Eric Marshal Medley, Jr.; Alexia Holly Medley; Marcel Morris and Khiyre Medley; Kevin Morri, Chayna Elizabeth and Joel Ryan Foster; great-granddaughter Ayanna Powell; brothers William Lee Medley, Wilkes-Barre; Charles (Rayetta) Medley, Wilkes-Barre and John "Jody" Medley, CA; sisters Rebecca Murray, Dorothy Thornton, Shirley (Alfonzo) Walker and Estelle McGoy, all of Wilkes-Barre; Charlene Jenkins, SC; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, with the Reverend Brian Medley officiating.
