Minnie L. (Wolf) Billet

YORK - Minnie L. (Wolf) Billet, 92, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth M. Billet, who passed away October 25, 1993. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road in York. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Minnie was born in York on January 20, 1915. She was the daughter of the late Irvin and Katie (Strausbough) Wolf. She retired in 1977 as a presser for Bernsteins Sewing Factory after 10 years of service. She was a life member of the Vigilant Fire Company Auxillary, and a member of AARP. Minnie leaves a son, Rodney Billet and wife Linda of York, 3 daughters; Patricia A. Lehr and husband Carl of York, Judith A. Leas and husband Robert of Dillsburg, and Kathy L. Querry and husband Barry of Lewistown, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Gladys M. Sprenkle, 2 sisters, and a brother.
