Milford T. Hoover, Sr.

Lock Haven - Milford T. "Tom" Hoover Sr., age 71, of McElhatten, died at Susque View Home on Monday, April 20, 2009. He was born in Jersey Shore on April 13, 1938, son of the late Thomas and Mary Hoover. Tom worked at piper Aircraft for 16 years and as a machinist at Brodart Corp. for 15 years until his retirement. He was a very outgoing person who loved socializing with everyone. He is survived by his sons: Milford T. (Sherrie) Hoover Jr. of Lock Haven and Robert Hoover of McElhatten, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and a sister: Roberta Prince of Scranton. Tom was preceded in death by his wife: Juanita Hoover in 1992. Funeral services will be held at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 23rd, with Pastor Steve Salmon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Linnwood Cemetery at the family's convenience.
