Mildred M. (Sweigart) Flanagan-Horst

NEW CUMBERLAND- Mildred M. (Sweigart) Flanagan-Horst went home to glory on August 26, 2010 at the age of 82. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc. 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Horst was born September 7, 1927 in Lancaster, PA, a daughter of the late Clayton K. and Bertha M. (Kaylor) Sweigart of Elizabethtown, PA. She was a former employee of M& M Mars until her retirement. She was a member of the Elizabethtown Church of God. Mrs. Horst was preceded in death by her husband, Milton "Tom" Flanagan; a son Mundus Flanagan; and Arthur Horst. She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca A., wife of Milton Brown of New Cumberland, PA, and Judith A. Flanagan of Pottsville, PA; a son, Thomas C. Flanagan of Columbia, PA; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Flanagan of Manheim, PA, Jacquline Lindemuth of York, PA, Janine Flanagan of Harrisburg, PA, Steven Flanagan of King of Prussia, PA, and Diana Flanagan of Harrisburg, PA; 13 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandson; a sister Betty Zinn Hostetter of Elizabethtown, PA; and family friend Lenore Stepnick.
