DALLASTOWN- Mildred L. (Sechrist) Seitz, 83, of York Township, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at her farm house. She was the wife of the late James C. Seitz, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 121 West Broadway in Red Lion. The Reverend Ronald L. Doverspike and The Reverend Stephany S. Sechrist will be officiating at the service. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Seitz was born in Red Lion on March 6, 1929, daughter of the late Percy L. and Edith (Garner) Sechrist. Her work years included Dentsply, Bendix Corporation and Red Lion Bank/ Southern Pennsylvania National Bank. Her financial and business expertise was essential in supporting her late husband's successful plastering business, J.C. Seitz and Son, Inc. of Dallastown. Mrs. Seitz was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Red Lion; a 1947 graduate of Red Lion High School; and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Seitz leaves two sons, James C. Seitz, III and his wife Linda, Scott E. Seitz; three grandchildren, Adam, Emily, and Sarah; a sister, Verna Larash and niece, Bonnie Crowe and husband Michael; sister-in-law, Mary Strine and nephew Rodney Sechrist and wife Stephanie; and step sister, Margaret Malehorn, husband Walt and nieces Lisa, Lori, and Tina. A brother and veteran, Ralph Sechrist preceded her in death. Family members, neighbors and friends brought great happiness to Millie during her life and the family thanks them all for their prayers and support. Farming and the enriched life of rural York County was what she enjoyed. Memorial contributions may be made to Farm and Natural Lands Trust, 156 N.
