York—Mildred E. (Russell) Lutz Amberman, 89, a former resident of the Victorian Villas in Dallastown, died Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Manor Care Health Services-Dallastown. She was the wife of the late J. Oscar Amberman and Maynard Lutz. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with her pastor, the Rev. David Haynes-Weller officiating. Burial will be held in Hopewell United Presbyterian Cemetery; E. Hopewell Twp. A viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral chapel. Mrs. Amberman was born April 27, 1918 in Brogue, a daughter of late Henry A. and Lyda (Miller) Russell. She was employed as a seamstress with Stewartstown Sewing Factory and York Garment Company from which she retired. A member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church, she was also a life member of Red Lion V.F.W and a former member of the Stewartstown American Legion. Mrs. Amberman is survived by several in-laws and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, one sister, Mary J. Smith and three brothers, Harold, Marvin and Roy Russell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 8426 Church Rd, Felton, Pa 17322.
