YORK - Mildred C. "Satch" (Huber) Wilt, 80, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Kenneth L. Wilt. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, June 26, 2009 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with her pastor, The Rev. Patrick J. Rooney officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 PM Thursday and from 9-10:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Born February 22, 1929 in York, a daughter of the late Fred and Margaret (King) Huber, she was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Mrs. Wilt retired from a sewing factory in York City and had also worked at Dentsply, Inc. She enjoyed being a good friend and neighbor to many and loved gardening and crocheting rugs. Mrs. Wilt is survived by a daughter, Deborah A. and husband Gary Bernas of Conneaut, OH; a stepdaughter, Barbara E. and husband Kenneth L. Reinhold of York; a grandson, Craig and wife Erin Bernas of Winnemucca, NV; two brothers, Fred Huber of York and James Huber of Washington, IL; two sisters, Helen Dressler and Evelyn Boyd both of York; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas, Robert, John, and Carl Huber; and a sister, Dorothy Sharples Wikel.
