Mildred C. Gentzyel

S. RENOVO - Mildred C. (Probst) Gentzyel, 89, a longtime resident of North Bend passed away, Saturday morning January 6, 2018 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo where she resided for the past three years. She was born August 29, 1928 in Renovo a daughter of the late John and Alice (Lomax) Probst, Sr. Mildred was married to Maurice G. “Pork” Gentzyel he preceded her in death on February 20, 2011. She graduated from Renovo High School and worked for Sylvania in Mill Hall. Surviving are two sons; Paul Gentzyel of North Bend and Steven (Amy) Gentzyel of Muncy, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive. Two sisters Lena “Dolly” Dudzinski of Newark, DE and Janet Morgan of Linden. She was preceded in death by a daughter in law Ramona Gentzyel in 2007 a son Randy Gentzyel a brother John Probst, Jr. and a sister Violet Kriner. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2017 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo with Martha Sykes officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 2:30 – 3:00 p.m. Burial will be private on Friday at North Bend Cemetery.
