POTTSVILLE- Mildred A. Silvestrini, 70, of Pottsville, passed away Friday morning at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Marlin on July 7, 1941 she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Bane Keitsock. She attended Saint Nicholas grade school and graduated from Pottsville High School in 1959. She worked in the Washington D.C. area for over 20 years. She was a secretary for the U.S. Naval Department and was also a secretary at U.S. Postal Headquarters. Most recently, she worked at Republican Herald. Mildred was a member of Saint Nicholas Church, Minersville. She loved the Philadelphia Phillies and the Washington Redskins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Peters; her three brothers, Raymond, Michael and John Silvestrini, Jr. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Karen Silvestrini, fiancé of Michael Vigoda, of Pottsville; her son, Michael Silvestrini, of Pottsville; her sister Diane Seitzinger, wife of Donald, of Schuylkill Haven; her brother, Peter Keitsock, husband of Emily, of Cressona; many nieces and nephews. Requiem Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Nicholas Church, 417 Front Street, Minersville. Father Mark Fesniak will officiate. Family and friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at the church. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, 800 Corporate Circle, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Online condolences may be sent to bestlifetributes.com.
