Mildred A. (Hickey) Dyroff

JERSEY SHORE - Mildred A. Dyroff, 69 of 313 Pine Street, Jersey Shore passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007 at Geisinger Medical Center. Born February 7, 1938 in Jersey Shore she was the daughter of the late Albert & Brita (Larson) Hickey. Mildred was a Certified Nurses Aide at Lock Haven Hospital Extended Care Unit where she worked until January 13, 2006. Earlier she worked for Woolrich Woolen Mills at the Avis plant for 25 years and also private duty nursing. Mrs. Dyroff was an avid gardener enjoyed pets, yard sales and spending time with her family. Surviving are three Sons Denny D. Dyroff of Denver, CO, Frederick C. (Tanya) Dyroff, III of Lewisburg and Shawn A. (Shelly) Dyroff of Jersey Shore. two Daughters Susan G. Shoemaker, Jersey Shore and Christine D. (Eric) Moore, Jim Thorpe, PA Nine grandchildren (Tonya, Qwynn, Whitney, Shawn, Gretchen, Benjamin, Freddie, Bailee and Rylee) Several Nieces and Nephews One Sister Elsie Breon of Jersey Shore She was preceded in death by two Brothers Herbert & Lewis Hickey One Sister Beverly Holbrook The funeral service will be held 6:00 P.M. Thursday, February 15, 2005 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Rev. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral home from 5:00 - 6:00 P.M. Private interment will be at Jersey Shore Cemetery.
