Mila E. Ramble

YORK—Mila E. (Fuhrman) Ramble, 70, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at her residence in W. Manchester Twp. She was the wife of James E. Ramble to whom she was married for 52 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, November 2, 2018 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York. Officiating the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Dr. Alan Watt. A viewing will be held from 9-11 a.m., Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Greenmount Cemetery. Born October 11, 1948 in York, she was a daughter of the late Miles and Madalene (Emig) Fuhrman. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker, who loved shopping, decorating, was extremely organized, always had everything planned, collected Rae Dunn and enjoyed her daily cup of tea. Mila was a graduate of West York Area High School Class of 1966 and worked for several years as a secretary at Lincolnway Elementary School. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ramble is also survived by two children, Elizabeth A. Kennedy and husband, Thomas of New Oxford and Eric S. Ramble and wife, Krista of Seven Valleys; three grandchildren, Cody J. Kennedy, Cassidy D. Kennedy, her partner Josh M. Royer and their daughter, Madelynn and Alyssa L. Ramble.
