Michelle Shaffer

Michelle Shaffer was born May 11, 1962, in Hutchinson, Kansas to Albert L. Villines II and Carmen (Duran) Villines. She passed away on July 3, 2024 in Red Lion, PA.

Growing up as an Air Force dependent, Michelle lived all over the United States to include, Selfridge AFB, MI, Wurtsmith AFB, MI, McCord AFB, WA, MacDill AFB, FL, Laredo AFB, TX, and Peterson AFB, CO. Without a true "hometown”, she often spent many holidays, vacations, and summers with her extended family in Pretty Prairie, KS and Silver City, NM, where her mother and father grew up (respectively). Michelle would eventually settle in Albuquerque, NM, where she and her husband Judd would raise their two daughters. While in Albuquerque, Michelle taught Montessori Pre-K and Kindergarten children which she truly enjoyed before relocating to Southeastern Pennsylvania. Michelle enjoyed reading, crafting, picnics, fishing, scary movies, playing games, spending time with her three grandsons, and visiting her parents in Las Vegas, NV. Most of all she loved Jesus, her Catholic faith, and spreading the good word as a faithful disciple of the Catholic Church He started.

Michelle is survived by her mother Carmen of Henderson, NV; husband Judd; daughter Kristian (Ronan) Siefring, three grandsons, Anton [Silver Bullet], Axton [Mr. Magoo], and Aerik [Lincoln] of Tyler, TX; daughter Kashmir Shaffer of Las Vegas, NV; brother Albert L. (Blanca) Villines III of Walkersville, MD; many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father Albert L. Villines II, sister Yvonne in infancy, and many Aunts and Uncles.

Michelle was cremated and will be buried July 15th, 2024 at 12:40 p.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, NV. A Memorial Mass may be scheduled at a later date.
