Michelle L. Daniels

YORK- Michelle L. Daniels, 53, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at her home. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A viewing will be held from 5-7 PM prior to the service. Born December 17, 1963 in Harrisburg, Michelle was the daughter of Gladys (Hoffman) Daniels of Harrisburg and H. Frederick Daniels and his wife Debra of Salt Springs, FL. She worked as a physical education and health teacher for almost 20 in the York School District. Michelle graduated from Lock Haven University with a Bachelor’s Degree and went on to earn her Master’s Degree. She coached basketball and was an official for PIAA. Michelle was the Pittsburgh Steelers #1 fan. She also loved music, dancing, craft beer, and traveling to the beach to enjoy the sun and sand. She was a person who valued memories, capturing the precious moments in life through pictures. In addition to her parents, Michelle is survived by a brother, Brett Daniels and his wife Tometta of Harrisburg; a step-brother, Jimmy; two step-sisters, Tara and Samantha; a nephew, Daxon; a niece, Delaney; three step-nieces, Elisabeth, Michaela, and Sadie; many dear friends, including her best friend, Sally Bordner, and her beloved canine companion, Qui.
