Michael W. Gaul, Jr.

POTTSVILLE - Michael W. "Mickey" Gaul, Jr., 70 of Pottsville died Friday at the Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. Born in Pottsville on June 14, 1940, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary E. Kramer Gaul. He attended Pottsville Schools. Mickey was a member of the Church of Saint Patrick, Pottsville. Until retiring, he was employed as a welder for the Borough of Palo Alto. Mickey was a veteran of the Army, serving in Germany for two years. Surviving Mickey are: a sister, Jane and her husband Wade Schaeffer, of Pottsville; nieces Kimberly Alcaraz, Virginia, Renee Botek, Deer Lake, and Colleen Stoyer, Reading. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM from the Church of Saint Patrick, Pottsville. Family and friends may call from 9 AM until time of mass at the church. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. The Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions can be left in Mickey's name to the Church of Saint Patrick, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
