Michael S. Pierce

YORK - Michael Stephen Pierce, 59, passed away on July 20, 2022 at WellSpan York Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at York New Salem Fire Hall, 65 East George Street, New Salem Borough, PA 17371. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. is assisting with arrangements. Born September 1, 1962 in Mobile, Alabama, he was a son of George Pierce and Margaret (Wooley) Sellers. Mr. Pierce worked for many years in construction as a foreman. In his free time, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, and enjoyed watching the Baltimore Ravens and the Orioles, along with Alabama Crimson Tide. Mr. Pierce is survived by his sons, James Pierce, Matthew Pierce, and Dustyn Pierce; a daughter, Stacey Townsend; 10 Grandchildren, Hannah, Hayden, Andreas, Lawson, Kyle, Anastasia, Kyndall, Rilynn, Mavryk, and Eliza; two brothers, Duane Pierce, Heath Pierce; two sisters, Heather Pierce, and Leeann Carlisle; a daughter in law, Tina Pierce, and many nieces and nephews.
