Michael S. Myers

FELTON-Michael S. "Gunther" Myers, 36, died Sunday, August 15, 2010 as a result of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. There will be a viewing from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Michael was born in York on November 17, 1973, a son of Glenn F. Myers and his wife Patsy of Dunmore and Carol (Mittel) Courts of Hellam. He was self-employed doing construction work in the York area. Michael was a fun loving person, with a great smile and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State fan. He enjoyed cooking, especially pit beef, loved riding motorcycles, was an avid hunter, deep-sea fisherman, enjoyed crabbing, and spending time with his dog, Casey. Along with his parents, Michael leaves, a brother, Chris Myers and his wife Teresa of Red Lion; two nephews, Cory and Colby Myers; a grandfather John Myers of Dallastown, and a grandmother Mary Mittel of Hellam. A son, Tanner Myers, preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
