Michael Maurice Lewis

NEW COLUMBIA - Michael Maurice Lewis, 47, died on Monday, February 03, 2014 at his residence. Michael was born on September 9, 1966 in Lewisburg and was the son of the late Thomas L. and Betty A. (Deichert) Lewis. He was a graduate of Milton High School and had attended Christ Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed teaching guitar lessons, fishing and was an avid Penn State, Steelers and New York Yankee’s fan. Michael is survived by one brother and sister-in-law; David R. and Tara E. Lewis of Watsontown and one sister and 2 brothers-in-law; Debra L. and Ray E. Phillips of Milton and Tim J. Hans of Lewisburg and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister; Cathy E. Hans. There will be a memorial service at a later date and time. Arrangements are being handled by The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton.
