WINDSOR - Michael L. Denton, 63, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at his residence. He was the husband of Karen L. (Keesey) Denton, to whom he was married 43 years. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Pastor Paul Dauenbaugh of Pleasant View Brethren In Christ Church officiating. A visitation will be held from 9-10 AM prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born March 4, 1951 in York, Michael was a son of Jewel Elizabeth (Gipe) Denton of York and the late Paul Leroy Denton. He worked as a welder and shop foreman for 42 years at Formit Steel Company in Red Lion until his retirement this past April. Michael was an avid hunter and horseback rider. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Denton is survived by a daughter, Tammy S. Henry and her husband Scott of Dallastown; two grandchildren, Zachary Henry and Kiersten Henry; two sisters, Deborah Gladwin and her husband George of Red Lion and Diane Mundy of Red Lion, and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his father, Michael was preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie Denton and Steven Denton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria , VA 22311
